Interesting thing about the business name and not auto-filling the account domain name. We used to auto-fill, but found that a lot of new customers didn’t quite understand that they could could change that field as they progressed through the form. Hence we ended up with customers creating accounts like http://my-business-name-is-really-long.worketc.com
Agree on starting to put more of an emphasis on verticals – though this is happening naturally to a degree, for example, we’re huge in the SEM/SEO provider space.

Agree about the vertical pages/blog. This is also a place where white papers, best practice and consultants can be listed–what about users and community.
We are a PSA–we have nothing in common with an online retail business. I would love to be able to connect with other users involved in the same business, share ideas…
Focusing on verticals also help focus the development of the product. At some point, the product must be meeting the needs of one segment in order to generate viral adoption. For example, PSA…
